HERON’S HEROES return with a “Dinner of Love”

On the Great and Holy Thursday, April 16th, 2020, HERON employees, in collaboration with the non-governmental organization “Dinner of Love”, volunteered in the initiative to provide support to those facing difficulties in accessing basic goods, such as daily food. Our employees joined this effort with great enthusiasm, cooking and preparing in their own kitchens more than 300 individual servings of food for our fellow people living on the streets of Athens. HERON made sure that all servings were gathered and delivered to the facilities of the “Dinner of Love” organization, which distributed them to homeless people on the same night.
The “Dinner of Love” was a true act of solidarity and contribution from the part of HERON, thus communicating a strong message of humanity and sensibility to our fellow people who are hit hardest during this period.
